Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident/Registered Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, assist in rehabilitation programs, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote recovery and well-being. This role offers an opportunity to work in diverse clinical settings, including hospital environments, with a focus on acute care, pediatrics, and general patient rehabilitation.
Duties
- Assess patients’ physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans based on medical history and current health status
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve mobility and reduce pain
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and health maintenance strategies
- Document patient care activities accurately in medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Assist in managing acute care cases, ensuring timely intervention for critical patients
- Support pediatric patients through age-appropriate therapy sessions tailored to their developmental needs
Skills
- Proven experience working in hospital settings with a strong understanding of acute care procedures
- Knowledge of pediatric physiotherapy techniques and patient care strategies for children
- Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and healthcare documentation
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Strong assessment skills to identify patient needs accurately and develop effective treatment plans
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
