Job description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Extruder Technician with a strong background in plastic extrusion. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating extrusion lines, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate plastic extrusion machines
- Start up, monitor, and shut down production lines safely
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with extrusion processes
- Perform line purging and ensure smooth operation
- Identify and address quality defects in products
- Maintain consistent production standards and efficiency
- Work closely with production and quality teams
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in plastic extrusion is required
- Strong knowledge of extrusion line setup and operation
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and process-related issues
- Understanding of common quality defects and how to resolve them
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of production lines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Experience working in manufacturing or extrusion companies
- Flexibility to work shifts if required
