Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented PHARMACIST (Part-Time / Full-Time) to join our healthcare team in Holland Landing ( NEW MARKET AREA ).
Duties
- Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with physician orders and legal requirements
- Provide expert consultation to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and review patient treatment plans
- Monitor patient responses to medication therapies and adjust prescriptions as necessary
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate pharmacy records, including medication histories and inventory logs
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and safety protocols
- Educate patients on medication adherence, health management, and wellness strategies
- Oversee the proper storage, handling, and disposal of pharmaceuticals
- Assist in managing pharmacy operations, including inventory control and ordering supplies
Requirements
- Valid pharmacist license in the state of ONTARIO
- Retail experience or background in retail care settings is preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and pharmacy law
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to healthcare delivery
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing healthcare environments and protocols
