Position:MSC-Safety and Facility Standards
Schedule -Wednesday-Sunday -(4pm-12am)
Pay -$18 per hour
Position Summary:
The MSC – Safety & Facility Standards is an enhanced Member Services role created to support a safe,respectful, clean, and well-controlled environment at Gold’s Gym Village Square during evening hours. The highest priority for this position is safety, including incident prevention, visible floor presence, staff support,monitoring member conduct, rule enforcement, incident reporting, and escalation when required. The role also supports facility standards, hygiene, equipment protection and member experience.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Maintain visible floor presence throughout the full shift.
- Monitor facility activity, member conduct, entrance activity, and high-traffic areas.
- Support the front desk and staff when difficult, aggressive, or non-compliant situations arise.
- Identify and report suspicious, unsafe, disruptive, intimidating, or aggressive behaviour.
- Greet members professionally and remain approachable.
- Help members feel that the club is supervised, organized, and well-managed.
- Provide basic support or redirect members to the correct department.
- Monitor cleanliness and hygiene standards during the shift.
- Report or address urgent cleaning, garbage, spill, sanitation, or washroom concerns.
- Support the protection of company property and communicate repeated facility concerns to management.
