Responsibilities:
- Create & prepare detailed design documentation for use by staff, including:
- CAD drawings for sheet metal production facilities and client interface drawings - 2D and 3D
- Step-by-step procedure documents
- Bill of materials
- Coordinate with project managers, technical specialists, and co-workers to ensure accurate information transfer about the parameters and requirements of each project.
- Aid in determining the best methodology for implementing design changes with minimal cost and impact.
- Complete project revisions or documentation changes as necessary.
- Expand upon custom software and tools used for automation purposes.
- Assist in maintaining and creating expansive databases and ensure compliance against updates that may transpire.

Experience:
- Minimum of 5 Years AutoCAD experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Products – Primarily Excel
- CNC Programming
- Background in Sheet Metal fabrication an asset but not required.
- Strong understanding of basic electrical concepts.
- Mechanical, Civil, and Structural Engineering background considered a major asset.
- Post-secondary education/certification in a design, engineering or technical-related field is required.
