We are seeking a talented and personable Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements, while delivering outstanding customer service. As a Nail Technician, you will also have the chance to upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client experiences.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and sterilization in all tools and work areas to ensure client safety
- Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations
- Upsell retail products and promote additional services to increase client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Assist clients with body waxing services when qualified and trained to do so
- Build lasting relationships with clients through friendly communication and professional expertise
- Keep the work environment clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
- Stay updated on the latest nail trends, techniques, and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Valid state cosmetology or esthetician license with certification to perform nail services
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role in a salon or spa setting
- Strong knowledge of nail care procedures, sanitation standards, and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients effectively
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction
- Experience with body waxing is a plus but not required; training may be provided for qualified candidates
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as needed
