Educan Tutoring Services is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable High School Math & Physics Tutor to join our growing team. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about helping students build confidence and succeed academically in a supportive small-group environment.
Responsibilities
- Tutor high school students in Ontario curriculum courses, including:
- Grade 9–12 Academic Math
- Functions
- Advanced Functions
- Calculus & Vectors
- Data Management
- Grade 11 & 12 Physics (preferred but optional)
- Explain concepts clearly and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles
- Support students with homework, test preparation, and foundational skill development
- Track student progress and provide session feedback
- Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of high school mathematics and physics
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, professional, and patient
- University students, engineering/science majors, teacher candidates, graduates, or OCT-certified teachers are encouraged to apply
