Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Perform comprehensive automotive repairs including engine, transmission, brake, and suspension work
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and hand tools
- Utilize power tools and welding equipment for repairs and assembly tasks
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides to accurately identify issues
- Perform heavy lifting of vehicle parts and components safely and efficiently
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or mechanic experience preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Experience with welding, schematics reading, and assembly processes advantageous
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance procedures
- Customer service experience is a plus for engaging effectively with clients
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work with physical endurance
- Prior experience in automotive repair or related technical fields is highly desirable
