We are seeking a dynamic and engaging French teacher teach children between the ages of 1.5 and 6 years old. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood education and language acquisition.
Duties:
- Conduct French lessons: Plan and execute interactive French lessons tailored to the developmental needs of young children.
- Create engaging activities: Develop age-appropriate activities, games, and songs to make learning French fun and engaging.
- Encourage participation: Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where children feel encouraged to participate and express themselves in French.
- Assess progress: Regularly assess each child's language development and adjust teaching methods accordingly to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Maintain a safe environment: Ensure the safety and well-being of all children during lessons.
Requirements:
- Fluency in French, proficiency in spoken and written French is essential
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French
- Experience working with children in a tutoring or classroom setting
- Knowledge of various educational subjects and curriculum standards
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Patience, flexibility, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the individual needs of each child
