Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth overnight operations, providing exceptional guest services, and maintaining the hotel's financial records. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, personable, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities during the night shift to support our guests' needs and uphold the hotel's standards of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and during check-in/check-out processes with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently using multi-line phone systems
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with excellent customer service skills
- Perform nightly audit procedures to reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and update guest accounts accordingly
- Monitor security and safety protocols throughout the hotel premises during overnight hours
- Assist with administrative tasks such as reporting, data entry, and preparing daily summaries
- Ensure front desk area remains clean, organized, and welcoming for guests
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures related to guest privacy, safety, and service standards
Skills
- Multilingual or Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist a diverse guest demographic
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for handling multi-line phone systems effectively
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Ability to handle guest interactions with tact, patience, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail for accurate record keeping and financial reconciliation during nightly audits
- Knowledge of hotel operations, front desk procedures, and guest services best practices is advantageous
