Responsibilities
- Represent Setpoint professionally as the frontline contact for our customers
- Complete preventive maintenance visits on BAS systems controlling HVAC equipment on a recurring schedule
- Diagnose and repair BAS hardware and software faults through on-site and remote service calls
- Read, understand and diagnose issues with sequence of operations and BAS programming.
- Assist with commissioning of new BAS installations and retrofits
- Participate in ongoing BAS technical training sessions
- Complete detailed service reports to be shared with the customer
- Potential to grow into senior technician or other BAS related roles
Qualifications
- Licensed electrician — 309A certificate of qualification
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on field experience
- Knowledge of BAS, HVAC, and building electrical systems
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
- Comfort with remote diagnostics and basic network troubleshooting
- Valid Ontario G driver's licence
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills — you are the face of Setpoint on-site
- Reliable Controls or other BAS experience is a strong asset
- Eagerness to learn BAS programming and diagnostics
- Experience with RTUs, FCUs, AHUs, or hydronic systems is an asset
