Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits of various items, especially technology products
- Provide knowledgeable advice on product specifications and usage to enhance customer satisfaction
- Handle point-of-sale transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling and processing payments
- Upsell additional products or accessories to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure products are well-stocked and properly merchandised
- Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Follow company policies on cashiering, cash handling, and phone etiquette to maintain professionalism at all times
- Support store operations through effective time management and organizational skills
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Experience in retail sales, especially with technology or electronics products, is preferred
- Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers effectively
- Knowledge of merchandising, POS systems, and basic math for transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette
- Proven ability to upsell products while maintaining integrity and customer trust
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain store presentation
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating good time management skills
- Multilingual capabilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
- Technical sales experience or familiarity with product specifications can be beneficial
