About us: Cristini Athletics is a group and personal training fitness facility with 2 locations, in Vaughan & Markham. We have been helping in improving lives for 15 years. We are looking to bring a physiotherapist on staff at our Woodbridge location. The clinic is located in a fitness facility that provides a lot of space for treatment. You will be surrounded with an environment of people who value living optimally and looking to forward to taking instruction from health professionals.
Availability is very flexible. Ideal days are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday afternoons/evenings and or weekends to start. Plus any other day can be added. Very flexible hours and days.
What we are looking for:
- We are looking for a therapist with experience working with athletes
- A Registered Physiotherapist that believes in treating clients based on their needs, goals and preferences.
- Be able to provide thorough assessment of clients, establish diagnosis, create treatment plan, execute treatments, and refer to other allied health professionals
- Self-motivated and autonomous, yet able to work in a team to discuss client cases, provide best practice care and get promising result
- Delegate treatments to additional staff members
- Capable of working collaboratively with the rest of the team, and open to learning new skills and developing your practice
- Capable of implementing both manual therapy techniques and corrective exercise routines for rehab physiotherapy clients
- Be able to instruct clients through muscle activation techniques and postural exercises during rehab stages of their treatment plan
Responsibility
- Treat acute and chronic problems patients are facing
- Provide clients with guidance on stretching, strengthening and how to improve their overall posture
- Document client’s condition and progress/ SOAP notes
- Work directly with fitness coaches to develop plans for patients
Qualifications preferred
- University degree in Physiotherapy
- Registered with Ontario Physiotherapy Association (Required)
- Manual Therapy Level 1 and 2
- Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST)
- Certified in CPR and first aid
- Minimum of 1-2 year experience in one on one care in a physiotherapy setting- an asset

Pay: $50.00-$140.00 per hour
