Office Administrator
Shared Ministry of Augustine United Church and Churchill Park United Church
Augustine United Church and Churchill Park United Church are seeking a part-time Office Administrator to support our shared ministry as we worship together and serve our communities. This role is central to the life of our congregations and helps create a welcoming, organized, and responsive office environment for members, visitors, volunteers, and community users.
This is a one-year term position, with the possibility of renewal, subject to the ongoing collaborative relationship between Augustine United Church and Churchill Park United Church and to operational needs.
Hours of Work: 16 hours per week

Responsibilities
The Office Administrator will:
- Provide administrative support for the shared life and ministry of Augustine United Church and Churchill Park United Church.
- Welcome visitors and respond to phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
- Support worship and congregational communications, including bulletins, announcements, and online worship access information.
- Maintain office systems, records, files, and contact information.
- Assist with congregational correspondence.
- Support communication and coordination with church leaders, volunteers, and service providers.
- Help manage calendars, building use, and approved space bookings.
- Assist with digital communications, including website updates and social media postings.
- Help ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the office.

- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Good judgment, discretion, and respect for confidentiality.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a welcoming, professional manner.
- Comfort with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, email, and general office technology.
- Bookkeeping experience as an asset.
- Experience with Canva as an asset.
Accountability
The Office Administrator receives day-to-day direction from the Minister and is accountable through the Ministry and Personnel Committee.
