Abel Corporation is looking for a hardworking and reliable Cabinet Assembly Labourer to join our manufacturing team. This position involves assembling custom cabinet components, preparing products for finishing and shipping, and ensuring all products meet our quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Assemble cabinet boxes, doors, drawers, and related components
Install hardware and cabinet accessories according to specifications
Read and follow shop drawings and work orders
Inspect parts for quality and accuracy before assembly
Package completed products for shipping
Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials as required
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and company standards
Work with other departments to ensure production schedules are met
Qualifications
Manufacturing, woodworking, or cabinet assembly experience is an asset but not required
Ability to use hand tools, measuring tools, and basic power tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout the day
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Dependable and punctual
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
