We are looking for a Kitchen Renovator And/Or a Bathroom Renovator that is hard working and passionate about their craftsmanship. An Individual who is dependable and adaptable. This role reports directly to a project coordinator & the General Manager; and works along side a dynamic and professional team.
Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Read plans and work descriptions accurately
- Demolition of Bathrooms & Kitchens
- Assist electricians and plumbers for rough-ins & relocates
- Installation of subfloor, drywall, fixtures, taping, mud, sanding
- Structural work is an asset but not necessary
- Framing of new requirements as per plans
- Straightening all surfaces to leave them ready for new materials
- Report twice daily to coordinator
- Must be able to do attic duct work and soffit duct work
- Must be able to anticipate and problem solve
Requirements:
- Great personality, fun to work with, team attitude, able to learn and teach
- 5 to 8 years’ experience
- Excellent communication Skills
- Great Customer Service
- Not required to paint or do tiles. (Both are an asset but not necessary)
- Valid Driver's License and transportation. Truck and Trailer is an asset
- Own tools
- In depth knowledge of construction of bathrooms (Building envelope, framing, sub-floor, cabinet installation and modification, patch and sand drywall, tape and mud, intricate cabinetry and lining up tile designs.
