Summer Camp Visual Arts Teacher – Aurora
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Visual Arts Teacher to join our summer camp team.

Location: Public School in Aurora
Position: Visual Arts Teacher (Full-time or Part-time)
Commitment: 6-7 weeks (July – August)
Hours: Flexible, approx. 20–35 hours/week
Hourly Rate: Negotiable based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily visual arts activities including drawing, acrylic painting, sketching, anime/manga art, and mixed media crafts
- Help students complete weekly portfolios and prepare for Friday gallery shows
- Create a supportive, inclusive, and creative classroom environment
- Collaborate with other camp teachers (drama, STEM) for cross-disciplinary projects (e.g., set and prop making)
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers
Requirements:
- Strong background in visual arts (fine arts degree or equivalent experience preferred)
- Experience teaching art to children aged 5–14
- Patient, responsible, and passionate about working with young learners
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to start by early July 6
