Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Porter to join our dealership team. This role is essential in providing a seamless guest experience by efficiently managing vehicle movement and supporting the service department. The ideal candidate will have a friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic. Previous dealership experience and bilingual abilities are considered a plus. Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport vehicles to and from the service drive, lot, and other designated areas within the dealership.
- Assist guests with vehicle arrivals and departures, ensuring a positive guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including parking lots and vehicle staging areas.
- Handle guest inquiries professionally, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Support the service team with administrative tasks such as cash handling and processing payments when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with technicians, service advisors, and guests to coordinate vehicle movements.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during vehicle handling and movement.
Requirements
- Previous dealership experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong guest services skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist a diverse customer base.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation to arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
