Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring high-quality treatment and exceptional patient experiences. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients using current dental practices and technologies such as CAD systems.
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures, including restorations, extractions, root canals, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff to ensure smooth patient flow and optimal care delivery.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic and Dentrix software.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their oral health, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry, especially in pediatrics if applicable, to provide the best care possible.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including infection control standards and OSHA regulations.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive measures to promote overall dental health.
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
- Valid state dental license in good standing.
- Experience with dental office management software such as Dentrix; familiarity with Epic is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and general health.
- Prior experience working in a dental practice; experience with pediatrics is advantageous but not required.
- Proficiency with CAD systems for restorative procedures is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations.
