We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in preparing and maintaining high-quality food service. This role is essential for ensuring smooth kitchen operations, food safety, and excellent customer experiences. Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and food handling to ensure timely service
- Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic cooking tasks and ingredient organization
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards
- Prepare ingredients such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling dishes as directed
- Help with food plating and presentation to meet quality standards
- Restock supplies and ensure all kitchen areas are organized and stocked for daily operations
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, storage, and sanitation
- Support catering events by preparing ingredients, assembling platters, and assisting with setup and cleanup
Skills
- Basic cooking skills
- Experience in food service environment is preferable
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in meal prep and cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff

Pay: $16.10-$23.08 per hour
