Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Coordinator supports the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, and employee experience initiatives. This role helps ensure HR processes operate efficiently while supporting compliance with applicable employment legislation.
The HR Coordinator works closely with managers and employees to maintain accurate HR records, support recruitment activities, and contribute to a positive workplace culture. The role offers exposure to a broad range of core HR functions.

General Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Coordinate recruitment activities including job postings, applicant tracking, and interview scheduling
- Screen resumes and support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
- Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruitment metrics
Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation
- Prepare employment documentation, onboarding packages, and employee files
- Ensure completion of required training and compliance documentation
- Assist with offboarding and exit processes
- Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communications
HR Administration
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
- Track employee status changes, including probation periods and contract renewals
- Prepare HR documentation to support payroll processes
- Assist with HR reporting and internal documentation
- Assist with HR reports and internal documentation
Compliance & HR Programs
- Support alignment of company policies with applicable employment legislation
- Support accessibility compliance under applicable accessibility legislation
- Maintain training records and policy acknowledgements
Employee Support
- Assist with documentation related to workplace investigations, as required
- Respond to basic HR inquiries from employees
- Support health and safety initiatives
- Assist with performance management processes
- Other duties as assigned
Your Skills and Experience
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Progress toward or completion of CHRP considered an asset
- 1 - 3 years of HR or administrative experience
- Knowledge of Ontario employment legislation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
