Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembler to join our manufacturing and construction teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling components, working with various tools and schematics, and ensuring products meet quality standards. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from cabinetry to heavy machinery, in a dynamic environment that values craftsmanship and precision.
Duties
- Assemble products and components according to detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Use hand tools, power tools, and CNC equipment to complete assembly tasks efficiently and accurately
- Read and interpret construction schematics, blueprints, and technical documents to ensure proper assembly procedures
- Perform tasks related to concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, and rebar installation as needed
- Assist with cabinetry installation, woodworking projects, plumbing, electrical work, and general handyman tasks
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the assembly process to ensure adherence to specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and resolve assembly challenges effectively
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation
- Experience with construction-related skills such as concrete forming, masonry, carpentry, roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, rebar installation, plumbing, electrical work, and restoration
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other manufacturing equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of construction estimating and schematics is a plus
- Strong understanding of woodworking techniques and cabinetry installation
- Experience with heavy lifting and working on construction sites or manufacturing floors
- Handyman experience across various trades is highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read technical drawings accurately
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
