Staffed Living Worker (36 hours) Wed-Sat 3-10pm, Sun 2-10pm
Job Summary
The Staffed Living Worker supports adults to live successfully in a staffed home environment by fostering a safe, healthy, and inclusive household. This role ensures that each individual’s physical, emotional, social, educational, and medical needs are met through person‑centred support and consistent daily engagement. The Staffed Living Worker assists clients with activities of daily living, encourages independence, and promotes the development of meaningful life skills that enhance overall quality of life.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing respectful, individualized support to residents in alignment with their personal plans, goals, and abilities
- Assisting with personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration, and household routines
- Supporting residents to build social connections, participate in community activities, and develop daily living skills
- Responding to physical, emotional, or behavioural needs using trauma‑informed, strengths‑based, and positive‑support approaches
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
- Monitoring and documenting health, behavioural, and progress notes in accordance with agency policies and standards
- Advocating for resident needs and ensuring access to medical, educational, and community resources
- Collaborating with team members to ensure consistent, high‑quality care and support
- Encouraging choice, autonomy, dignity, and inclusion in all aspects of daily life

Pay: $26.83-$29.76 per hour
