Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of manual tasks to support construction, maintenance, and installation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Prior experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment at job sites
- Prepare work areas by cleaning and organizing tools and supplies
- Perform general manual labor including digging, lifting, carrying, and material handling
- Support skilled tradespeople by providing necessary tools and materials during projects
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
- Assist with site cleanup and waste disposal to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications
Experience
- Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or related manual labor roles is advantageous but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks consistently throughout the workday
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and safety procedures is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Reliable work history demonstrating punctuality and dependability
