We Temp Glass Inc. is a custom glass manufacturing and installation company based in Markham, Ontario.
We specialize in high-end residential and commercial glass projects, including:
- Curved glass staircases
- Frameless glass railings
- Structural glass
- Custom shower enclosures
- Bent tempered glass
- Bent laminated glass
We are currently looking for an experienced freelance specialist who can assist us with complex custom glass projects.
This is NOT a regular CAD drafting position.
We are looking for someone with real hands-on experience in the architectural glass industry.
You should understand how custom glass is manufactured—not just how to draw it.
Responsibilities
- Visit project sites to perform accurate field measurements
- Use 3D laser scanning equipment (or equivalent measurement methods)
- Prepare fabrication-ready glass shop drawings
- Calculate glass deductions
- Determine standoff offsets
- Calculate radius and curved glass dimensions
- Prepare DXF / DWG files for production
- Coordinate with our fabrication team when required
Required Experience
We are looking for someone who already has experience in one or more of the following:
✔ Custom Glass Shop Drawings
✔ Curved Glass Projects
✔ Frameless Glass Systems
✔ Glass Railings
✔ Structural Glass
✔ Bent Tempered Glass
✔ Bent Laminated Glass
✔ Radius Calculations
✔ Glass Hardware Layout
✔ Production Drawings
Experience with the following software is considered an asset:
- AutoCAD
- Rhino
- Geomagic
- SolidWorks
- FARO Scene
- Leica Cyclone
- Trimble
- Other 3D scanning software
