Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher (Level 2 & 3) to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong commitment to supporting children's developmental needs. This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth in a safe and inclusive setting.
Duties
- Develop and implement daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration
- Support children's social-emotional development through guidance and positive reinforcement
- Observe and assess individual children's progress, maintaining detailed records of developmental milestones
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address any concerns
- Assist with classroom management, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and organization of materials
- Incorporate activities that support working with children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and developmentally appropriate practices
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with children, parents, and team members
- Certification or degree in early childhood education or related field is highly desirable
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to fostering a supportive atmosphere for young learners
Pay: $15.50-$17.50 per hour
