Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills to ensure our clients receive top-notch service.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to understand vehicle systems and components.
- Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Assist in the assembly of automotive parts and systems as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their vehicle's needs and repair processes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Lift heavy components safely, adhering to all safety protocols within the workshop environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic, preferably with dealership experience.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex automotive issues.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Solid understanding of automotive repair processes, including maintenance schedules and assembly techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
