Currently we are seeking individuals with previous oilfield experience who are interested in training to become H2S Safety Supervisors and Safety Technicians. The primary role is managing work areas containing H2S, confined spaces and many others. You would be responsible for managing and operating a breathing air trailer and supporting equipment for various operations.
Successful candidates will go through extensive training to learn how to properly carry out tasks including, but not limited to:
- Always encourage and illustrate a positive safety culture
- Engage in onsite safety meetings and emphasizing on specific hazards
- Safely Operating and maintaining equipment including but not limited to Air trailers, SCAB, SABA and Stand-Alone Air Monitoring Equipment as per company procedures
- Completing and submitting all required paperwork in a timely manor
- Educate workers on site regarding the potentials for H2S exposure at each location
- Testing the environment for H2S gas presence
- Creating rescue plans for each job site
- Executing and leading rescue plans in the event of an emergency
- Monitoring workers using SCBA and SABA equipment
- Confined Space Monitoring
- Plant Turnaround Activities

- Must be able to work on your feet for long periods of time, and in adverse weather conditions
- Must be able to perform rescue of a worker
- Must be able to pass “pre-employment”
- Must have minimum 4-5 years of oilfield experience (operations, flow back, testing, completions etc.)
Required Certificates
- Class 5 Drivers License, and clean drivers abstract
- Current H2S Alive Ticket
- Current First Aid Ticket
- Current Confined Space Entry & Rescue
- Current Common Safety Orientation
- Flammable Gas Detection & Control
