Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. Experience with dental software such as Tracker or Dentrix. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where professionalism and compassion are essential.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with safety protocols
- Ensure proper documentation of medical terminology and treatment details
Requirements
- Proven experience in dental assisting, with knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix or Trackers preferred
- Strong understanding of dental procedures, infection control protocols, and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Certification or training in dental assisting is preferred ; relevant on-the-job experience will be considered
- HARP certified
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and procedures within the dental field
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
