As Lead Hostess, you will:
- Manage all OpenTable reservations and ensure daily accuracy.
- Keep the OpenTable profile updated (photos, specials, menus, hours, seating, etc.).
- Handle phone and email reservations for in-house guests.
- Train and support host team members.
- Create and manage the live floor plan to optimize guest flow.
- Maintain accuracy across third-party food delivery platforms (menus, photos, promos).
- Manage visual content and updates for online ordering.
- Notify management when printed menus need updates.
- Maintain a clean and organized express counter.
- Step in to assist other restaurant operations as needed.
As Events Coordinator, you will:
- Respond to event inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist clients with menu, drink, and room selections.
- Secure event bookings and manage deposits and payments.
- Create detailed function sheets for every event.
- Coordinate event logistics with the kitchen, bar, and management.
- Flag large events for additional management support.
- Help ensure events run smoothly from setup to execution.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in a restaurant or events-based role (necessary).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable using OpenTable and delivery/ordering platforms.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Docs, Canva,
- Familiarity with a POS system and cash-handling is a bonus.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
