Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder/Fabricator (2+ years) in GMAW and/or SMAW to join our manufacturing team. This role involves fabricating, welding, and maintaining equipment and structures to meet high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience, and leadership skills to oversee projects and ensure safety and efficiency in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication skills in English are essential for effective teamwork and customer service interactions.
Duties
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks using various techniques to produce high-quality components and structures
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairs as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal or external client needs professionally
Qualifications
- Proven experience in welding, fabrication, and manufacturing environments
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience
- Familiarity with schematics, and facilitates maintenance procedures
- Supervising or leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Proficient communication skills in English for effective team coordination
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards
- Knowledge of customer service principles within industrial settings
