Our rapidly growing service company ECOSAN Hygiene (www.ecosan.ca) is currently seeking to add an energetic and fun individual to join our team as a Hygiene Technician Floater! This position helps provide assistance and coverage when technicians are away to our active routes across the Vancouver Lower Mainland region of BC, and is based from our office in Coquitlam.
This is a permanent, full-time position, 4 days per week. (10 hours per shift; 40 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday).
SCOPE OF WORK:
- Cover shifts when technicians are away or on vacation
- Float on different routes per week to learn the operations of the company inside & out
- Drive a company van to and from customer sites on regular weekly routes
- Clean and sanitize customer restroom facilities using specialized equipment
- Check and deliver restroom supplies like paper towel, toilet paper, and hand soap
- Exchange laundered products like floor mats and cloth towels, chef coats, table napkins, and other laundry related rental items
- Generate an invoice onsite using a handheld device and have the customer sign
- Provide general cleaning outside the restroom area as directed
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid BC drivers license with 3 ton truck driving experience
- Ability to effectively communicate in English (spoken and written)
- Ability to bend, left and twist up to 30lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to move at a quick pace to provide efficient service
- Some customer service experience
- Some commercial cleaning experience
- Familiarity with emailing and using electronic devices (like a cell phone app)
COMPENSATION:
Start at $22/hour increasing to $23 per hour after 90 successful days
2 weeks paid vacation per year
Use of company cell phone
