Job Summary:
The Electrical Assembler's Primary function is to assist the electrician and install industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls based on technical drawings, schematics, government regulations and other documented specifications in a manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Under the direction of electrician
1. Follow drawings, blueprints and schematics to complete industrial electrical equipment installations.
2. Install, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, network and coaxial cable assemblies, light fixtures and other electrical components.
3. Install and connect switchgears, transformers, power distribution panels, batteries, and electrical control systems.
Job Specific Qualifications/ Knowledge/ Experience:
1. Knowledge of Electrical Power Circuits.
2. Experience using hand tools like wrenches, cable strippers and power tools to perform tasks required.
3. 3+ years of experience in Electrical Assembly within an Industrial Environment.
4. Ability to travel within North America with a valid passport and driver's license.
