Summary:
Under limited supervision, the Bilingual Customer Service Associate assists customers with product inquiries, resolves concerns, and performs order entry activities in both French and English. This role plays a key part in delivering an exceptional customer experience, ensuring seamless communication and support for our diverse clientele.

Essential Functions:
- Engage with customers and sales team members via phone, email, fax, and in person, providing outstanding support in both French and English.
- Assist customers with product selection from our catalog or website, offering expert guidance on product availability and alternative recommendations as needed.
- Accurately process and manage customer orders using the company’s CRM, order entry, and embroidery systems.
- The ideal candidate will have experience working within order management and ERP environments and be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Track and maintain pending and open orders, ensuring smooth and timely fulfillment.
- Work proactively with other departments to resolve routine and complex issues, escalating when necessary to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Follow up with customers via phone or email to ensure a positive experience and build strong relationships.
- Develop deep knowledge of Chef Works' products, processes, and customer service best practices to enhance customer interactions.
- Present and communicate product promotions and marketing initiatives to increase sales and customer awareness.
- Drive sales growth by actively engaging with customers, upselling, and providing personalized service.
- Enter customer interactions, concerns, and order details into the CRM system with accuracy.
- Meet and exceed productivity and quality standards for the role.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework preferred).
- Two to three years of progressive customer support experience in customer service, order processing, retail services, or related environments.
- Strong computer proficiency in a Windows environment, including Microsoft Office suite and CRM/order entry systems.
- Experience with systems such as Sage and EmbTrak is considered preferred and beneficial; however, comparable experience with similar order management, ERP, or workflow platforms will also be considered.
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English preferred (verbal and written).
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities with high attention to detail.
- A customer-focused mindset, with the ability to build rapport and provide solutions proactively.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based, fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasional lifting of 10 lbs. or less (less than 5% of the time), typically at waist level.
- Prolonged desk work, including extended use of a computer and telephone.
