About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Casino Player Development Representative to grow our player base, strengthen relationships with high-value players, and promote Deerfoot Inn & Casino’s facilities and offerings. This role combines sales and marketing, business development, VIP hosting, strategic reporting, and exceptional guest service in a fast-paced, people-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business relationships by identifying and introducing new guests to Deerfoot Inn & Casino
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with high-value casino players
- Actively market casino facilities, gaming products, services, and on-site amenities
- Promote casino events, promotions, and property offerings
- Host VIP events and entertain players both on-site and off-site
- Travel outside of the Calgary area as required to support player development initiatives
- Provide personalized service based on guest preferences and gaming activity
- Track player activity, engagement, and campaign performance
- Prepare weekly reports for the Casino General Manager detailing player development activities and marketing strategies
- Analyze player trends and recommend strategies to improve acquisition, retention, and revenue
- Collaborate with marketing and casino operations teams to align initiatives and goals
- Represent Deerfoot Inn & Casino with professionalism, discretion, and integrity
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in sales and marketing
- Casino and/or gaming industry experience required
- Strong customer service and relationship-management background
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and Punjabi (spoken) is required
- Valid security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Pro Serve certification (required)
- AML (Anti-Money Laundering) certification (required)
- Reliable personal transportation required
- Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Comfortable hosting VIP events and representing the brand in social and professional settings
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and reporting skills
- Guest-focused with a results-driven mindset
