WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
KPC EMS needs METER REPAIRS ELECTRICIANS for our growing business in ONTARIO.
Responsibilities:
· Install, construct, and repair 120/240, 120/208, 347/600-volt electrical systems in a residential, commercial, or industrial environment adhering to the OESC and industry standards.
· Interpret low-voltage electrical and communication blueprints, schematics, and diagrams for planning and executing installations and terminations in construction projects.
· Champion a strong commitment to safety regulations and protocols.
· Stay current with developments in the OESC and ensure all construction and termination work aligns with applicable regulations.
· Maintain comprehensive records of all low-voltage communications, construction and termination work, including compliance documentation and project logs.
Educational Requirements:
· Post-secondary education in an electrical discipline an asset
· Possession of a valid 309A Electrical License issued by the Ontario College of Trades
· 5-10 years of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical construction experience from a trade perspective
Skills:
· In-depth familiarity with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC) and industry-specific construction and termination standards
· Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
· Strong communication skills
Working Conditions:
· Residential, commercial, and industrial site environment; travel to job sites; working at heights; walking; lifting weight >50 lb
· Inclement weather conditions a possibility
· Coverage area - Ontario Territory
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $49.50-$51.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
