Summary
We are seeking a Cashier to join the team at our Lyons Timber Mart BLACK RD LOCATION, located in Sault Ste. Marie, this role is vital for ensuring smooth transactions and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions efficiently using POS systems.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries.
- Maintain an organized and clean checkout area to enhance the shopping experience.
- Support sales initiatives by promoting products and services when appropriate.
- Assist with inventory management as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
