Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, suites, and common areas following established standards for hygiene and presentation
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish amenities to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, including sinks, showers, tubs, and fixtures
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly
- Use industrial cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently to deliver high-quality results
- Restock cleaning supplies and ensure storage areas are organized and secure
- Follow health and safety protocols consistently to create a safe environment for guests and staff
Experience
- Previous custodial or housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning tools and techniques enhances your effectiveness in this role
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with other departments and respond to guest needs effectively
