Our client, a leading manufacturing firm is currently looking to hire a Quality Inspector (Electronics) on a long-term basis to join their growing team!
This role supports production through accurate kitting and material handling, with occasional backup coverage for receiving. It requires strong attention to detail, reliable execution, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue production kits accurately and on time.
- Pick, move, stage, and replenish materials as required.
- Be comfortable working safely at height to pick and put away parts stored in higher locations.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through counts, bin checks, and timely transactions.
- Provide backup support for receiving, including verification, labeling, and system receipts.
- Keep material areas organized and compliant with safety and quality standards.
- Perform additional tasks in support of production or inventory needs as required based on workload.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Experience in kitting, material handling, or warehouse operations.
- Ability to read BOMs, pick lists, and work orders.
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory systems.
- Strong attention to detail and dependable follow-through.
- Ability to lift and move materials, including heavy items.
- Ability to work safely at height when required; willingness to take Safety at Heights training.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Epicor and Excel
- Experience with receiving processes.
- Logistics experience.
- Knowledge of 5S or lean material flow practices.
