Your Team:
Join Flair Vacations, where strategic partnerships and commercial growth support the continued expansion of the business. Reporting to the President, Flair Vacations, the Director, Product & Yield is responsible for leading the product, pricing, inventory, and revenue optimization strategy for Flair Vacations. This role drives the development of competitive vacation products, promotional and pricing strategies, and yield performance to support commercial growth and profitability. Working closely with internal stakeholders, hotel partners, tourism organizations, and destination providers, the Director, Product & Yield ensures product offerings align with market demand, customer needs, and business objectives while maximizing revenue opportunities and maintaining strong partner relationships.
This position is based on-site at any of our offices in Calgary, AB (YYC), Edmonton, AB (YEG), Toronto, ON (YYZ) or Vancouver, BC (YVR).
A Day in the Life:
As a Director, Product & Yield, you will:

Lead the development and execution of the product and yield strategy for Flair Vacations, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives, revenue targets, and long-term growth plans.

Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel partners, in-destination service providers, tourism boards, destination marketing organizations, and other strategic suppliers to support product development.

Oversee the packaging and performance of vacation products to ensure offers remain competitive, profitable, and aligned with market demand.

Identify and negotiate commercial opportunities with key partners to enhance Flair Vacations’ product offering, market position, and profitability.

Evaluate and optimize product mix, package performance, and channel contribution to support both direct and partner-led sales growth.

Oversee product lifecycle management, including performance reviews, product enhancements, market expansion opportunities, and the introduction of new destinations or product offerings.

Manage yield strategies, pricing structures, promotional tactics, and inventory allocation to maximize revenue and margin performance.

Monitor booking trends, market conditions, competitor activity, and customer demand to create pricing and promotional recommendations.

Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics related to product performance, yield, inventory, and profitability.

Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, e-Commerce, and operational stakeholders to ensure product and pricing strategies support broader business objectives.

Prepare and present regular updates to senior leadership on commercial performance, market trends, strategic priorities, and opportunities for growth.

Lead, mentor, and support team members while fostering a high-performing, accountable, and commercially focused environment.

Ensure teams have the information, tools and resources required to effectively promote and sell Flair Vacations products.

Contribute to broader business planning and decision-making as a senior leader within Flair Vacations.

What You Bring to the Role:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Hospitality, Tourism, Marketing, or a related field is required.

A postgraduate degree or relevant professional designation is considered an asset.

Experience:
-
Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in product or commercial strategy roles within the travel industry.
-
Demonstrated experience with pricing, inventory, promotional, and yield strategies that support revenue growth and profitability.
-
Proven experience leading product development, commercial planning, and performance management.
-
Established relationships with hotel partners, tourism boards, destination partners, and other strategic suppliers is preferred.

Experience negotiating commercial agreements and managing partner relationships to support business growth is required.

Previous leadership experience managing or developing high-performing teams is preferred.

Strong commercial and analytical acumen, with the ability to balance product strategy, pricing, and yield performance to achieve business goals.

Excellent understanding of revenue drivers, demand trends, promotional strategy, and inventory performance within a travel or vacation business.

Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with senior stakeholders.

Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills, particularly in relation to external partners and suppliers.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic and evolving business environment.

High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with reporting tools, pricing systems, or business intelligence platforms is considered an asset
