We are seeking a motivated 3rd Term , 4th Term or 5th Term 309A Construction Electrician Apprentice to join our team.
This experienced position offers hands-on experience in electrical systems within construction projects.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with electricians in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems on commercial and industrial sites.
Duties
- Assist licensed electricians with installing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to project specifications and schematics
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support installation tasks
- Use hand tools, power tools, and low voltage testing equipment safely and effectively under supervision
- Support the setup and teardown of electrical systems, including conduit bending and cable management
- Help troubleshoot electrical issues during installation and commissioning phases
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience or familiarity with industrial electrician work or electrical systems is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprint reading, low voltage wiring, and construction processes is advantageous
- Strong willingness to learn and develop skills in electrical installation and maintenance
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment on construction sites
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and working at heights when necessary
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for travel between job sites
- Must be committed to safety standards and continuous learning in the electrical trade
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
