Illume Skin & Laser is looking for a Experienced Part Time Front Desk Receptionist for a permanent long-term position that has experience in a Salon/Clinic setting.
Availability: 2 days a week: Saturdays 9-4pm, and one other day of the week to be decided based on candidates availability. Saturdays can at times be switched with the other receptionist. Additional coverage of shifts as needed to cover the other receptionists time off, holidays, sick days etc.
Start Time: asap= training should be fulltime or as much as possible to learn the job duties until you are okay to work on your own.
You will be responsible for the reception area, this includes but not limited to the greeting of all guests in a friendly and professional manner, answering phone calls and voicemails usually regarding booking or changing appointments, assisting guests with questions regarding services, products, or concerns; via phone or email, booking all types of appointments, checking the guest into the computer system, and take guests payments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be on time for shift and maintain consistent, regular attendance record.
- Properly open and close each day according to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Accurately book, change and cancel appointments.
- Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves.
- Ensure that the check-in and payment process is handled in accordance with company policy by processing cash, credit card and credit transactions accurately thus protecting the company’s assets.
- Provide detailed descriptions of treatments, services and hours of operation.
- Utilize computers with skill and proficiency; document guest information in Mindbody (electronic record) as directed.
- Answer the phone promptly and use the guest’s name throughout the phone conversation; operate phone system accurately and efficiently.
- Handle guests questions and concerns promptly, professionally and courteously.
- Maintain complete confidentiality in all guest matters in accordance with company policy.
- Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean; safe, fully stocked and well-organized work area.
- Folding laundry, taking out garbage, cleaning the bathrooms and maintaining the cleanliness.
- Ensure adequate stock of supplies & products; inform management when stock is low.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
- Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings.
- Assist in all areas of operation as requested by management.
Position Requirements:
- Must be experienced in a salon/clinic type setting.
- Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent communication, listening and computer skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and have ability to multi-task.
- Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess basic math and money handling skills.
- Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Must be a team player.

Job Types: Permanent, Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
