This position reports to the Plant Manager in our Brampton facility.
Duties:
Assemble and troubleshoot highly-automated machinery requiring tight tolerances
Assemble and/or repair machinery according to layout plans, blueprints, schematic diagrams or other drawings
Install, commission, and/or service our machinery at domestic and international customer sites
Comply with Company ISO Standards, policies and safety regulations
Other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager
Qualifications:
Three plus years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Valid Ontario Machine Assembler certificate, or Ontario Millwright certificate, or completion of Millwright Apprenticeship, or equivalent experience
Able and willing to work overtime as determined by the Plant Manager
Able and willing to travel domestically and internationally, with valid passport
Good mechanical background in a manufacturing or production environment
Ability to operate machine-shop equipment such as milling machines, lathes, grinders, etc., an asset.
Ability to read and understand schematics, blueprints, and other drawings
Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics and lubrication
Overhead crane license and forklift experience preferred
Log out/tag out training an asset
Ability to work with others and follow instructions closely
Good English communication skills
Security Background check to work in our Controlled Goods facility

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
