We are looking for a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team at our healing clinic. Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy treatments tailored to individual client needs, including therapeutic, relaxation, and injury prevention techniques
- Conduct client assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and document progress accurately
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in compliance with health regulations
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices to enhance their overall health outcomes
- Ensure a clean and safe treatment environment, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
Requirements
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and health conditions relevant to massage therapy
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients
- Excellent communication skills to explain treatment procedures clearly and answer client questions confidently
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for specific protocols as needed
- Registered in good standing with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC)
- Valid liability insurance
