Akshar Academy is a registered Private Career College in Ontario offering career-focused education, certification programs, testing services, and professional training. We are seeking a motivated and student-focused Admissions Advisor to join our growing team in Brampton.
Job Responsibilities
- Respond to student inquiries through phone, email, walk-ins, WhatsApp, and social media
- Guide prospective students regarding programs, admissions requirements, schedules, and career outcomes
- Conduct admissions interviews and assess student suitability for programs
- Assist students with enrollment documentation and application processes
- Maintain accurate student records and CRM data
- Follow up with leads and convert inquiries into enrollments
- Coordinate with academic and administrative teams regarding admissions and onboarding
- Support marketing events, education fairs, and student information sessions
- Explain tuition fees, payment plans, and available funding options
- Ensure compliance with college policies and Ontario PCC regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience in admissions, education counseling, sales, customer service, or administration preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with follow-ups and lead conversion
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Experience with CRM systems is an asset
- Multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a Private Career College or educational institution
- Knowledge of Ontario education systems and student recruitment
- Experience handling domestic and international student inquiries

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
