Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.Our clients are hungry when they visit and we need to get them fed, so we are looking for team members that have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Hours of Operation: Monday to Sunday- 7 am until 3 pm
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables.
- Know the layout of tables, the table settings and the table numbers
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize dining flow.
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about the restaurant, menu, and wait times while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Must offer the appropriate menus and mention the specials and promotions
- Collaborate with the waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, including menus and promotional materials.
- Handle guest feedback professionally and relay any concerns to management as necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience in hospitality is required.
- Must be familiar with the'' Waitlist App ''
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with POS systems is Required.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others in a team-oriented setting.
