Job Title: Customer Service Representative (CSR) / Printing

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Customer Service Representative (CSR) with advanced print knowledge to join our team. This role is primarily customer-focused, with light technical support related to preparing and organizing files for production. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced print environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service (Primary Role):
- Client Communication: Act as the primary contact for clients, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing information on products, services, order status, and pricing.
- Order Management: Handle customer orders, ensuring job specifications are clear and accurate. Create job tickets and track orders through production to completion.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer issues, coordinating with internal teams to deliver timely solutions and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
- Job Coordination: Collaborate with the sales, production, and design teams to ensure that jobs are produced on time and meet quality standards.
- Post-Job Follow-Up: Conduct post-job satisfaction checks with clients and ensure feedback is logged for continuous improvement.
Prepress (Secondary Role):
- File Pre-Flight: Perform basic prepress tasks, including checking artwork resolution, color management, and file formats to ensure they are print-ready.
- File Management: Ensure files are correctly named, stored, and backed up, and that they meet the company’s production guidelines.
- Collaboration with Prepress Specialist: Work closely with the dedicated Prepress Specialist for complex projects or technical issues that require expert-level file preparation.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in customer service, ideally in the printing or manufacturing industry. Basic knowledge of prepress or graphic design is a plus.
- Software Skills: Familiarity with graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop) and file preparation for print.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to handle multiple customer requests and prepress tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail for both customer service and prepress work, ensuring files are properly prepared and client requests are accurately processed.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate with various departments (sales, production, prepress) to ensure smooth workflow and job completion.
Preferred:
- Experience with large format printing or working in a print production environment.
- Familiarity with color management, file resolution, and print-ready file preparation.
- Experience with CRM or production management software (such as ShopVox).
