We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A for a 16-month contract based in downtown Toronto, with a hybrid schedule of 2–3 days per week in office. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys collaborating closely with senior leaders, shaping business decisions through insightful analysis, and contributing in a visible, high-impact role.
You will take ownership of monthly reporting and board materials, support forecasting, and modeling, and deliver clear, meaningful insights that help guide key business decisions.
Working with a high degree of independence, you will maintain and enhance core reports and executive presentations while providing trusted FP&A support during a maternity leave coverage period.
What You’ll Do:

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial and operational reports, including variance analysis against budget and forecast.

Lead the monthly forecasting process and maintain consolidated forecasts, budgets, and financial models.

Build and enhance models to support planning, scenario analysis, investment evaluation, and growth initiatives.

Analyze results, KPIs, and trends, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
What You’ll Bring:

Experience in a Senior Financial Analyst or similar FP&A role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.

Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and model maintenance.

Strong PowerPoint skills and experience preparing board or executive-level presentations.

Strength in forecasting, financial modeling, analysis, and problem-solving.

Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality work on deadlines.

Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
Nice to Have:

Experience in a contract or interim finance role providing reporting continuity.

FP&A experience in medium to large organizations or complex business environments.

Familiarity with reporting or BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Experience supporting or presenting to boards, executives, or senior leadership teams.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or Accounting; CPA is a strong asset.

5+ years of progressive FP&A experience with advanced Excel, financial modeling, and proficiency in PowerPoint and Word; ThinkCell is an asset.

Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality work in a deadline-driven environment.
