Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Polisher to join our team. In this position, you will smooth and shine the surfaces of various items. Depending on the item, you may do this by hand or using tools. While you are polishing pieces, it is important that you keep an eye out for inconsistencies on the surface area or any potential safety issues. Applicants should be familiar with the materials commonly used in the industry and comfortable performing repetitive tasks. Must have good work ethics, willingness to learn and a team player.

Duties
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and polishing equipment to smooth and finish surfaces
- Use machining to prepare parts for polishing
- Assist with assembly and fabrication processes as needed
- Operate heavy equipment and forklifts safely within warehouse/shop
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members on projects for smooth process
- Follow safety protocols related to the use of machinery, hand tools, and power tools
Experience
- Experience as a Fabricator is an asset

- Knowledge including familiarity with CNC machining, assembly, and heavy equipment operation is highly desirable
- Experience operating forklifts and other heavy machinery is a plus
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and finishing techniques required
- Knowledge of safety standards related to manufacturing or construction sites is beneficial. Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
