Job Overview
We are seeking a Red seal Certified Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This role requires a strong understanding of carpentry techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Carpenter will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Construct, large additions, framework, finish work and everything in between
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Perform heavy lifting as required for various construction tasks.
- Assemble furniture and fixtures according to design specifications.
- Execute construction painting tasks as needed to finish projects.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians and plumbers to complete projects.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Red Seal certified Carpenter
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics.
- Familiarity with CNC machinery is a plus.
- Experience with cabinet installation and general maintenance person tasks is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44 per week
